About us

Ritter company was founded in 1965. This medium-sized family-owned company is based in Schwabmünchen, Germany. On around 30,000 m², Ritter develops and produces with about 320 employees high-quality plastic products for the entire world's markets, certified to the current ISO 9001 and 13485 standards.

From the initial product idea to the CAD-supported design, from the own mold construction to the own production site, from quality department, logistics and sales: all at Ritter is done under one umbrella.

Ritter GmbH uses only controlled plastic raw materials that are pollution-free. In more than 70 countries, millions of Ritter Medical products are daily used in clinical and biotechnological applications!

blackKnights (robotic tips)

With blackKnights (conductive robotic tips), even small volumes can be dosed with high precision and without contamination. The conductivity enables the system to recognize the filling height and will guarantee a minimal immersion of the tip into the liquid, in order to assure a save pipetting. Our robotic tips are produced under cleanroom conditions. Each lot is tested according to our quality management system to assure reproducible results of your applications.

Ritips® evolution (the new generation of dispenser tips)

All nine sizes come with a color-coded adapter for fast identification of the correct tip. Easy and highly precise dosing, even in low volume applications. Smallest volumes from 2 μl can be dispensed without using any additional pipet tip. These dispenser tips are proper for viscous, infectious and volatile liquids. Reliable and repeatable results through automated, individual tests of every single tip. Each size is also available single-wrapped in bioclean® quality.

Raised wells reduce the risk of cross-contamination and increase the security of heat-sealing or sealing with adhesive films. Optimized footprint according to the SBS standard. Our Riplate® plates are suitable for use in a thermocyclers or in a hot-water bath, for applications with extreme temperature circumstances like freezing or defrosting in a microwave. Due to their high chemical resistance, they are ideal for sensitive diagnostic applications. A part of our plates are offered as bioclean®.

Riplate® SW dilution strips

Ritter has just launched its Riplate® SW dilution strips (SW refers to the English expression Square Wells, by analogy to the range of plates of the same firm). Presented in scoop at the EuroMedLab congress in Barcelona (Spain), these are strips of eight square wells of approximately 2 ml each and whose reference is 43001-0031. This product, made of polypropylene, is sold in units of 250 strips. The "Riplate® SW dilution strips" (official article name) are suitable for use with the "Dynex DS2®", "Dynex DSX® Elisa processor" and "Dynex Agility" pipetting robots.
